Siena Heights baseball returns to glory thanks to local talent

Siena Heights have extended their season.

The Siena Heights baseball team hasn't seen much success lately, suggesting coach John Kolasinski go back to what brought the team to glory in earlier years; Toledo guys. Many of the key players for this years team, including the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) player of the year Cory Lehman, are from Toledo high schools.

The Saints recently beat top-seeded Indiana Tech. to take the WHAC tournament championship, and earn a trip to Florida to compete in the NAIA Regional Tournament. With the inaugural Football season in the books, seeing the baseball team continue into the post season is just another step to the emergence of Siena Heights sports.
