Toledo breaks record and beats Bowling Green

More than 6,000 fans cheered Toledo past Bowling Green Wednesday night.

Toledo beat Bowling Green Wednesday night 83-76. The Rockets jumped out to a 16 point lead in the first half but saw that cut to 1 after halftime but the Falcons could never get over the hump.

Before the game, a Guinness World Record was broken for the most bow ties tied with 517. It was Toledo's Tie One On game in order to raise money for cancer research.

Justin Drummond led UT with 22 points while Jehvon Clarke and Anthony Henderson each had 23 points for BGSU.
