Boy's Sectional semis continue on Wednesday

Wauseon's Wade Wooley goes up for two against Eastwood

Boys Sectional basketball continued on Wednesday night with numerous local teams in action.

Wauseon took down co-NBC champion Eastwood, 55-46 at Swanton. Wade Wooley had a huge three-point play for the Indians that put them up three, and they never looked back.

"Definitely fired everybody up, so it was a good, big play," Wooley said.

NLL champion Napoleon took on former NLL member Rossford. The Wildcats took control right immediately, opening a 15-0 lead and they cruised to a 74-45 win. Jordan Myles led with 23, Manny Durden had 26 for the Bulldogs.

At Eastwood, TAAC rivals head to head. Firt, Toledo Christian knocked off Cardinal Stritch 49-39 and in the second game Gibsonburg defeated Northwood, 87-44.

Finally, at Clay, Clyde beat Bellevue 59-52 and Scott prevailed over Oak Harbor 63-37. The Fliers will meet the Bulldogs on Friday night.
