Perrysburg rallies for 8-6 win over Springfield

TOLEDO, OH- Entering Friday's NLL game, both Perrysburg (5-1, NLL) and Springfield (4-3, NLL) knew it was going to be a dog fight, and they were right. After four lead changes, Perrysburg held on for the 8-6 win over Springfield.

Perrysburg scored two quick runs in the top of the first, but Springfield answered in the bottom of the inning to take a 4-2 lead. The Yellow Jackets came back in the second to tie the game at four, but the Blue Devils weren't going away. Kory Petinoit drove home a run to put the home team back in front 5-4.

The bats came alive for Perrysburg in the fourth, Mark Delas and A.J. Stockwell each had two-run singles to give the Yellow Jackets the lead for good.
