When a school can get a team to qualify for State it's quite an accomplishment. Two teams doing so on the same day is almost unheard of.

But that is exactly what the St. Ursula volleyball and soccer teams did on Saturday. The Arrows volleyballers make their second consecutive trip after defeating Rocky River Magnificat in the Regional final for the second year in a row. St. Ursula easily took the first game 25-13, but in the second they came back from a six point defecit to win 25-23, then took the championship in the third.

"They never give up, they never ever believe they're out of it. And I just can't coach that, that's something that's inbred with them and they believe it, they truly believe they can win at any time," said head coach John Buck, who's team is now 26-0 on the season.

Earlier in the day the soccer team advanced behind three goals from senior Kelly Farell, 5-2 over Bellville Clear Fork.

In other Regional matchups, the St. John's boys soccer team was eliminated by Copley, 3-2 and the #1 team in Division III, Ottawa Hills fell 2-1 on penatly kicks to Mansfield Christian.

Also, the Findlay volleyball team defeated Pickerington North 3-2 advancing to State for the first time in their program's history. Should the Trojans and Arrows keep winning they will meet in the State final.
