School: State University of New York at Oswego
Born in Buffalo, raised in one of the snowiest cities in America, Kimberly was destined to become a meteorologist. A single snowfall event in the winter of 2006-2007 brought over 11 feet of snow to her suburban college town, setting a statewide record. She graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Meteorology and a Minor in Mathematics.
Armed with a passion for cold & snowy weather, Kimberly's career in broadcasting began in sunny Macon, Georgia. Just a year later, craving a destination with all 4 seasons, Kimberly landed in the Midwest, where she first worked at WTOL before joining the WNWO NBC 24 team.
Kimberly has been honored by the Arc of Lucas County with the Outstanding Media Award in 2015 for her extensive work with the developmental disability community and continues to share her passion for weather at schools, community events, and local career days.
Kimberly and her rescue dog, Ginger, consider themselves lucky to live in the Glass City. Catch Kimberly’s forecast on NBC24 weeknights at 6 and 11 pm.
