Connect With Marcus Espinoza

Marcus is a native of the Toledo, Ohio area. He first discovered his passion for broadcasting while in high school at St. Johns Jesuit. He would go on to pursue his passion at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He served as anchor and reporter for the school's news program, NewsWatch.

While in Phoenix, Marcus worked at the local PBS station, Channel 8, serving as technical director among other studio responsibilities. Marcus had the incredible opportunity and fortune to win a scholarship from Dr. Pepper while in college for sending in a video describing how he believed in the powerful impact that stories can have on others. He was then featured on every Cherry Dr. Pepper can in the entire country for a span of three months in addition to the tuition winnings.

He will be serving as a MMJ/Reporter for NBC 24 covering general news.

When not shooting news, Marcus is a huge film and TV fan and also has a passion for technology and all of the newest gadgets.
