Life Tastes Better Here: Smokehouse Bistro
The Smokehouse Bistro is the area’s first restaurant to bring back a prehistoric method of cooking by heating up stones. The method is a healthier technique that sears the food locking in the juices creating the ultimate flavor.
The restaurant has natural Australian lava rock slabs that are heated to 752 degrees, which are brought right to the dining table. This process gives customers an interactive meal with complete control on the outcome of their food. Undercooked proteins are served to the table with a side of seasoning and dipping sauce allowing the customer to slice and finish cooking each piece of food to their desired temperature. The stone menu has several different cuts of steak and seafood selections available. Each meal comes with the accompaniment of two side dishes which are prepared back in the kitchen.
Besides the “On The Stone Menu” the bistro also has burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers and offers other steaks that can be cooked on the grill if table side isn’t the preference. The restaurant also has daily specials and half off all appetizers starting after 7 p.m.
The restaurant supports local by using area venders to supply fresh meats and vegetables along with grains and desserts.
The Smokehouse Bistro is open Monday through Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. with earlier hours starting at 11 a.m. on Thursdays through the weekend.
