A Utah State University cheerleader is going viral after the camera caught her in an emotional moment during the NCAA Tournament.

The viral video shows cheerleader Ashlyn Whimpey crying toward the end of the Aggies game against the Missouri Tigers on March 16, in which they lost 65-76. She wrote on Instagram that in the moment, she was sad it was her last game to cheer at.

Her caption read "going out with a bang," with "#marchsadness."

The video has been shared across social media platforms as people turned the moment into a meme.

Twitter users were fast to share the clip, which has also since been reused to apply to different teams' losses.
