The event is apart of the "Build our Best BG Month".

Multiple organizations partcipated including those representing people with disabilities, law enforcement as well as the BGSU Tennis team.

The group Not In Our Town put on it's second annual Peace march on Friday afternoon.

"The community came together to say we welcome all that this is a safe place and we want to keep it that way so that type of commitment and that message I feel is very important and something I'm very proud of," said Holly Cipriani, Program chair at Not in Our Town.

The march started at the corner of Main and Wooster and ended at the BGSU student union where folks could sign pledge cards that indicated their commitment to provide a safe and inclusive environment.
