Candlelight vigil draws large gathering for Sadari Knighten outside Happy's Pizza

Family and friends of the late Sadari Knighten placed balloons in and drew on her car at Monday's candlelight vigil (WNWO).

It was a time of mourning for the family of Sadari Knighten.

The 28-year-old delivery driver was shot and killed Tuesday, at her last stop.

Monday night, her employer, Happy's Pizza, held a candlelight vigil for her. Dozens came out in support.

The company will also hold a BBQ fundraiser for her family and 2-year-old daughter.

"She had a heart of gold. And she wouldn't change that for no one. So because of that, all you can do is pay your respects to her just as well. Only because she would give her last," said longtime friend, Gwen Carter.

Police arrested a 16-year-old for Knighten's murder. Prosecutors hope to try him as an adult.
