Condemned killer James Worley granted a stay of execution
A motion on Monday has been granted for an appellant's motion for stay of execution for James Worley.
No execution date shall be set while this appeal is pending.
An appellant's request to extend time to file was also granted.
Earlier in 2018 Worley was given the death penalty for the murder of Sierah Joughin in Fulton County.
Court officials request any record to be filed shall be filed no later than November 28, 2018.
