Police say 27 year old George Anthony Davis, Jr. shot and killed himself Monday afternoon.

Police say it all started around 9 a.m. at a gas station in Detroit where Davis shot and killed three people. One of the victims was his child's mother.

He then drove to a home nearby where he shot and killed his cousin.

After that, police say he then stole a car from the area.

Leading police on a high speed chase down I-75, Ohio State Highway Patrol caught up with Davis at the Flying J in Perrysburg near I-280. He would crash and minutes later, he turned the gun on himself.

It all led to an end result of what one witness says scared him and his wife.

"First I heard sirens coming around and I got out of my truck over here and I saw the black gentleman come around thru the grass between mu truck and another truck. I was going to tackle him till I saw the gun and I backed off and at that point that's when he shot himself," said Timothy Miller.

Davis was placed under arrest and rushed to St. Vincent's Medical Center. He died two hours later.

Davis has had a criminal background before today. Not only was he under probation for a home invasion in 2016, but he also was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in 2007 and receiving and hiding a stolen vehicle in 2011.
