Downtown Toledo streets shutdown for investigation to incident

TOLEDO< Ohio (WNWO) — An area of downtown is closed Thursday morning for first responders to attend to an incident.

Toledo Fire & Rescue officials say Summit Street between Monroe & Jefferson was closed around 9am due to a reported underground vault fire.

#ToledoFire & Toledo Police Department were on scene in support of Toledo Edison as they evaluate the situation.

Cause or damage has yet to be determined.

Authorities advise motorists to avoid the area.
