Erie Township Council approve Mason Consolidated liaison officer
ERIE TOWNSHIP, Michigan (WNWO) —
Mason Consolidated Schools is one step closer to adding a police officer inside their high school.
Erie Township Council approved the liaison officer unanimously.
Final approval will come from the school board on Monday.
The officer would begin right after their spring break, on April 9th.
It will cost the school $42,000 per year.
The Erie Township Police Department will now pursue a full-time police officer to add to its staff.
