Four reported shootings in Toledo since Friday, including 14th homicide of 2018
TOLEDO, Ohio (WNWO) —
At around 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Toledo Police responded to a shooting near 350 Moorish Avenue, marking the fourth shooting in a three day span.
While that incident remains under investigation, Daniel Joseph Kirby was taken into custody Friday night by TPD for murder and felonious assault, in relation to a shooting on Friday on Marvin Avenue.
The other two reported shootings are still being looked at by TPD.
Saturday morning, they say they were called out around 6:30 a.m. 55-year-old Jeffrey Wallace was found dead at Chesnut and Streicher, marking the 14th homicide of 2018.
TPD were also called to a shooting Saturday night, right around 10 p.m., in North Toledo, on Stickney Avenue.
