Jeep Fest offering "Park-N-Ride" service

Those who park at meters with this sign on Saturday will be towed (WNWO).

The Toledo Area Rapid Transit Authority, TARTA, is helping with Jeep Fest this weekend.

Nearly all meters in downtown Toledo have 'temporary no parking, Jeep Fest' signs up. Those spots are being reserved for the over 1,000 Jeeps that are registered for the parade on Saturday morning.

TARTA is offering its " Park-N-Ride" shuttle service twice per hour from 9:30 a.m to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday from its Frankin Park Mall Park-N-Ride location.

Return service will be available via downtown Toledo at Washington and St Clair Streets.

Park-N-Ride service via route 2 at Franklin Park Mall, 4500 Monroe Street in Toledo.

Parking is available behind Old Navy and the T-A-R-T-A bus stop located on Royer Road.

Fares are as follows.

• Adults and children age six and older: $1.25

• Children under age six: free (with an adult, limit two free fares)

• Seniors age 65+: 60¢ (with reduced fare TARTA ID or Medicare ID)

• Persons with disabilities: 60¢ (with reduced fare TARTA ID or Medicare ID)

• Registered TARPS customers ride free with proper ID

• University of Toledo students, staff and faculty ride free with valid Rocket Card TARTA.com/UToledo
