In 2017 36% of all Lucas County adults were declared obese.
Trainers say they're looking to shift those statistics starting young.
"To make sure that the parents are really aware of what their kids are consuming... that they're at home cooking home-cooked meals for the kids so they can manage what the kids are eating," said Fletcher.
"You wan to take care of your body," said Dale.
The event happens Monday At TPD's PAL gym on Manhattan Avenue from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m..
