National spotlight: from addict to ironman to counselor
One Sylvania man is getting national attention for his addiction recovery program out of Holland. It's called Racing for Recovery and it will be featured on the NBC show, "The Doctors."
Todd Crandell has been sober for more than 20 years after a 13 year addiction to drugs and alcohol. He found healing through a more healthy lifestyle. After finding a passion for running, Crandell had a new healthy addiction-training for ironmans. He has used his 28 ironmans and 2 ultraman competitions to put a spotlight on addiction and recovery. He is now a licensed counselor helping others get clean.
His story is set to appear on "The Doctors" on Monday, February 6th at noon.
