OSHP arrest three and seize gun and pot in Sandusky County
Members of the Ohio State Highway Patrol arrest three individuals during a recent traffic stop.
On June 13 troopers stopped a rented 2018 Toyota sedan with Pennsylvania registration for a speed violation on U.S. 6 in Sandusky County.
Troopers detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle during interaction with the occupants.
A probable cause search revealed three pounds of marijuana in vacuum sealed bags in the trunk and a hi-point 9 mm loaded gun all valued at $7,000.00.
Arrested were the driver 21-year-old Darius R. Badley of Euclid, 26-year-old David J. Bynum of Tacoma, Washington and 29-year-old Marcus E. White of Lacey, Washington.
All were charged with third degree felony possession and trafficking in marijuana.
White was also charged with third degree felony weapons under disability.
All were in incarcerated in the Sandusky County Jail.
