Pacesetter Soccer Invitational back for 15th year in Sylvania

For the 15th season, the Pacesetter Soccer Invitational is drawing thousands of people to Sylvania.

The Memorial Day weekend-based tournament is bringing in 320 teams from seven different states and Canada.

With that many families coming to Sylvania, it means big business for all the stores, hotels, and restaurants throughout the community.

"It brings roughly three million dollars to the economy for hotels, restaurants, other local places here in Sylvania and in the Toledo suburbs. So it's a great way for people to see Sylvania, Toledo, the surrounding areas, and really give this part of Ohio an identity," said Tournament Director Greg Acuna.

The tournament will feature 19 age groups. The action starts Friday and goes all the way through Monday.
