Perrysburg Assistant City Prosecutor let go, City Prosecutor back in position
PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WNWO) —
According to documents received by NBC 24, Assistant Prosecutor Corey Speweik has been let go by the city of Perrysburg.
The city says Speweik's contract expired on December 31, 2016. The City of Perrysburg's Law Director, Karlene V. Henderson terminated Speweik, citing his services are "no longer necessary due to departmental changes".
A source also tells NBC 24 that City Prosecutor Martin Aubry has not resigned, despite turning his badge into city council at Tuesday night's meeting.
