Perrysburg law director resigns after almost three years on the job
Perrysburg confirmed to have received a verbal resignation from Law Director Karlene Henderson.
It comes a week after council narrowly approved a new prosecutor, Chynna Fifer, 4-3.
She was originally shot down for the position in February by the same vote. Henderson was a part of the hiring process.
The assistant prosecutor was also fired in February by Henderson.
Per a city source, she was verbally reprimanded in February. It was documented and placed in her file, regarding her management and oversight of the prosecutor's office.
She began her duties as law director in August 2015.
The job opening is now on the city's website.
