TOLEDO, Ohio — A former addict who has helped countless others join him in recovery is getting further from his former life and closer to his 100th IRONMAN achievement.
Todd Crandell will complete his 93rd in Chattanooga on May 22nd.
Having worked past 13 years of addiction to drugs and alcohol, he now provides free professional counseling through Racing For Recovery which hosts support group meetings for anyone facing the struggle today.
Crandell aims to have finished 100 IRONMAN races by October 2022, concluding in Hawaii, to inspire those in recovery to also reach for grand successes, no matter how difficult.
