Teenager shot in second flare gun incident this week
For the second time this week, a victim reported being shot in the face with a flare gun.
Just before midnight Tuesday, the second victim was shot.
A 16-year-old was walking with two friends near Whittier Elementary, when he says two men came up to him, one on a bike, and shot him in the face with a flare gun.
On Monday, Toledo Police say six men got into 36-year-old Deborah Price's car at the Gas and Go on Bancroft and Cherry.
Then, they forced her to drive them to another location.
When they got out, one of them shot her in the face with a flare gun.
Both victims sustained serious burns, but non-life threatening injuries.
TPD has not said if the two incidents are related, but they're still looking for the shooters.
