TOLEDO, Ohio (WNWO) - The Toledo-Lucas County Library is now home to the Steinem Sisters Collection, and it's the only one in the state of Ohio.

Nearly 500 books were donated. All of the books are about female empowerment, leadership, and achievements of women.

The library said this is just another avenue to provide our community members with pieces of history.

“Our abilities to create informational pathways has an ability to get these social movements out," said Rebecca Stanwick, with The Toledo-Lucas County Library. "It can get resources out, get how they can help people out."

The group picked out the library system because Toledo is Gloria Steinem's hometown. The library plans to expand the collection.
