The head ball coach at the University of Michigan made multiple stops in the Glass City Monday evening.

Jim Harbaugh's first stop was at Mercy Children's Hospital on Cherry St. Harbaugh was joined by local high school football players to visit hospitalized children in hopes of brightening the patients' day. One Springfield High School footballer told NBC 24 it is all part of giving back to a community that has given so much to him.

"I think it's our duty and a good thing to do to help out the youth since this area's given us so much," said Scottie Seymour.

Seymour is just one of the 40 athletes that attended an awards dinner with Coach Harbaugh after visiting patients.
