Use your Franklin Park mall reciepts to give back to local charities

Lucas County Children's Services, United Way of Greater Toledo and the Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo are all taking part in the "for goodness sake charity event".

Toledo, Ohio (WNWO)-- Your shopping trip to Franklin Park Mall could help local charities. It's all part of "For goodness sake", their first charity funraising event.

Here's how it works. You download the zip loop app, pick the mall, then charity and upload pictures of your receipts.

The charity with the most money spent gets 1500 bucks.

Lucas County Children's Services, United Way of Greater Toledo and the Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo are all taking part.

"We're always looking for ways to get involved in the community and support efforts of local organizations that work to make toledo better," said Casey Bogan, marketing director for the mall. "This was a good way for us to reward both shoppers and charities in town."

The campaign runs Thursday through November 25th.
