UT law professor brings legal perspective to Me too Movement

    Toledo, Ohio (WNWO)-- The Me too movement began in November 2017 as a way to highlight sexual assault victims.

    Law Professor Nicole Porter talked with students about the difference between sexual assault and harassment, one being physical the other verbal.

    She also talked the US Department of education's plans , to give more rights to people accused of Sexual assault.

    "The department of Education believes that accused individuals and universities' haven't been given due process or haven't been given enough due process and that they've been unfairly treated by a lot of universities," said Porter"I don't think thats the majority of the population."
