Woman charged for death of nursing home patient


    The incident happened at Arbors at Oregon in August 2017 (WNWO).

    OREGON, Ohio (WNWO) -- The Ohio Attorney Generals Office is investigating the death of a nursing home patient back in August 2017.

    Shawna Isner was indicted Wednesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

    She is being charged with involuntary manslaughter, a third-degree felony, gross patient neglect, a first-degree misdemeanor and patient neglect, a second-degree misdemeanor.

    She was working at Arbors at Oregon at the time, a long-term nursing home and rehabilitation center.

    The Attorney Generals Office is working with Oregon Police and the Lucas County Prosecutor.

    Arbors at Oregon declined comment.
