Wood County Sheriff's Office reports at least 15 car break-ins over two weeks

Toledo, Ohio (WNWO)-- The Wood County Sheriff's office urging the public to keep a close eye on their cars.

The past two weekends there have been a string of break ins on locked and unlocked cars.

The few that were locked and broken into had valuables left laying inside the car.

Sheriff's office report between 15 to 18 cars have been hit. They have occurred mainly in Webster, Freedom, and Troy township.

They believe the break ins have occurred sometime between overnight and early morning hours.

They're asking for anyone with information on suspicious behavior to give them a call.
