The first African woman to qualify in skeleton for the Olympics is headed to the games, representing Nigeria.
Simidele Adagbo only came into the sport recently, Simi reached out to the brand new Nigerian Bobsled team when they stated recruting. Then in September, starting her training in skeleton.
Simi came to Mt. Hoevrenberg combined course in Lake Placid, just before Christmas to get as many runs in on the course as she could.
